15 Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Today was a snow day! And what a better way to celebrate a victory like this than to enjoy some simple decadence.

After checking and double-checking Twitter, Instagram, and The Weather Network, I cozied up back under the warm embrace of my fluffy goose-down comforter. Zzzz.

Since I consider myself to be more of a night owl than an early bird, mornings are always kind of tough. However, I thrive on lazy mornings. Mornings where I can take my time rolling out of bed, sliding my feet into my bunny slippers, and enjoying a nice cup of jo' without stress and without hurrying myself along. Literal bliss.

So, when I awoke a few hours later, I was in a good, peaceful - dare i say it - cheerful, mood. With a spring in my step, I sauntered downstairs wanting nothing more to make my family feel as lovely as I felt.

And if loveliness were a smell, it would be sweet like nostalgia and brown sugar. So, I decided that the sugary smells of cinnamon rolls would do just the thing, climbing up the oak staircase, creeping under closed doors, and dancing lazily under half-awake dreamers.

Quick, easy, and delicious, this recipe is takes no longer than 15 minutes from start to finish, and it chances are, you will have most of these ingredients on hand!

  6. Enjoy with a cup of something hot!
