A thread for new juices because sometimes routines are boring!
The METHOD never changes. You simply:
Cut up fruits and vegetables into chunks.
Feed fruit through the juicer.
Revel in the healthiness... It really is that easy to juice!
Now that my dad has officially begun his juice fast, the whole family has gotten on board the juice train. This is, obviously, fantastic news! I am so excited that my family is just as enthusiastic about the magic of juicing as I am.
As a result, all this juicing has required many trips to the market to buy more, and more, and more... (and more!) fresh fruits and veggies. It also takes a fair bit of time when making an entire pitcher of homemade juice that should (but probably won't) last the week!
With the appeal of a refreshing and all-natural beverage option, sugary soda takes a backseat. My family members reach for the pitcher of 100% pure juice instead! And, I really can't blame them!
The other day my boyfriend even said something to the effect that the juice made him feel like he could "climb Mount Olympus"!
Ahh, the power of juice :)
But, if you're interested in making smaller quantities of juice, then the following recipes are fantastic since they make approximately 4 glasses of juice. Naturally, this amount will vary depending on the size of your fruits and vegetables. But, add in a few extra ingredients and you can easily stretch the juices!
These following combinations are juice perfect! (Pun very much intended!)
